SLEEP is a bed system designed by Irenie Studio and developed in collaboration with SLOWE Living. The project brings together Irenie Cossey’s architectural approach to furniture design with SLOWE Living’s experience in creating modular and repairable furniture systems. United by a shared interest in adaptable, low-waste design, the collaboration explores how timeless design and natural materials can create furniture that evolves alongside the homes it lives in.
SLEEP is a flexible sleeping system designed to adapt as life changes. Individual units can be used independently or connected to create larger configurations, allowing it to work as a single bed, guest bed or shared arrangement over time. Developed in collaboration with SLOWE Living, it follows a simple, modular approach with flat-pack efficiency, lightweight components and repairable construction, making it easy to assemble, move and evolve with different spaces. Natural wood materials and textural finishes then bring a calm, tactile quality to the bedroom, allowing the furniture to sit quietly within the room without overwhelming it.

With SLEEP we wanted to create a collection that offers flexibility and mobility - pieces that can move with us through different stages of life.
