RIGHTS TO RETURN
Unless goods are faulty, and we are duly notified as outlined below, we are unable to refund, exchange or credit your account. In the case of goods defective in materials or workmanship, please refer to our Warranty Policy.
This does not affect any rights granted under our separate Buy Back Guarantee, where applicable.
BUY BACK GUARANTEE
We understand that purchasing furniture online can be a significant decision and investment.
If you are not completely satisfied with your sofa bed within 7 days of delivery, we offer a Buy Back Guarantee subject to the following conditions:

The sofa bed must be returned using a SLOWE-approved delivery service.

Return delivery costs are the responsibility of the customer and will be deducted from any refund amount.

Refunds will only be processed once the sofa bed has been received and inspected.

The sofa bed must be returned in its original condition, free from stains, damage, excessive wear or markings.

We reserve the right to reduce the refund amount or decline a refund if the returned item does not meet these requirements.
The Buy Back Guarantee is designed to provide peace of mind while maintaining fairness for all parties.
STRUCTURAL WARRANTY – 5 YEARS
All SLOWE sofa beds include a 5-year structural warranty covering defects in frame construction and joinery under normal residential use.
This warranty applies to:

FSC plywood frame
-
Fixed structural components
-
Joinery and fixings forming the structural integrity of the product
This warranty does not cover:

General wear and tear
-
Fabric fading, pilling, staining or accidental damage

Cushion settlement through normal use
-
Customer-installed damage, misuse or incorrect assembly
-
Commercial use unless agreed in writing
-
Damage caused during relocations or moves by third parties
At SLOWE's discretion, we may:

Repair the affected component
-
Supply a replacement part
-
Replace the product
-
Refund the value of the affected component
We may request photographs, proof of purchase and reasonable evidence of the defect.
Upholstery and fabric covers are covered for 2 years against manufacturing defects but not general wear, cosmetic changes or loss of firmness through normal use.
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
CUSTOM MADE TO ORDER ITEMS
Custom and made-to-order products are manufactured specifically at the customer's request and are classified as bespoke goods under applicable consumer legislation.
Lead times displayed on product pages are estimates based on expected manufacturing schedules.
Once production has commenced, made-to-order products cannot be cancelled unless expressly agreed in writing by SLOWE Living.
Deposits are non-refundable. In certain circumstances, a company credit may be offered less the value of any work already undertaken.
ORDERING
An order is considered placed upon receipt of payment and confirmation by invoice.
Trade customers operating under agreed credit terms may place orders via purchase order, subject to acceptance by SLOWE Living.
Once an order has been accepted and production commenced, cancellation is not permitted unless confirmed in writing by SLOWE Living.
LEAD TIMES
Lead times represent the period between order placement and completion of manufacture.
While we make every effort to meet estimated lead times, delays can occasionally occur due to material shortages, supplier delays, production constraints or quality control requirements.
Lead times are estimates only and we cannot accept liability for loss or inconvenience arising from delays outside our reasonable control.
DELIVERY
Delivery dates are estimates and will be arranged with you in advance.
If delivery cannot be accepted within 14 days of completion, the balance of the order becomes payable in full and storage charges may apply.
Storage fees are charged at £100 per week.
Customers are responsible for ensuring suitable access for delivery.
Any additional costs relating to access, specialist lifting equipment, failed deliveries, re-delivery attempts or access restrictions will be the responsibility of the customer.
Please notify us before delivery if your property has restricted access, narrow staircases, more than three flights of stairs, lift restrictions or any other access considerations.
If delivery cannot be completed due to access issues that were not disclosed in advance, additional delivery, storage and re-delivery charges may apply.
Products remain the property of SLOWE Living until paid for in full.
INSPECTION
Products should be inspected upon delivery.
Any visible damage should be noted on the carrier's delivery documentation.
Any shortages, damage or defects must be reported in writing within 7 calendar days of delivery.
We cannot accept responsibility for damage reported outside this period.
MATERIALS & FINISHES
Wood is a natural material and variations in colour, grain, pigmentation and character should be expected.
Plywood may contain occasional knot plugs and natural characteristics that do not affect structural performance.
Wood may naturally move over time due to environmental conditions, humidity and temperature changes.
These natural characteristics are not considered defects and do not constitute grounds for return or complaint.
UK RIGHTS TO RETURN
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013:
Made-to-order products, including sofas, furniture and customised items, are exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation period and may not be cancelled or returned once production has commenced unless faulty or not as described.
In-stock items, such as artwork, apparel or other non-bespoke products, may be returned within 14 days of delivery in accordance with applicable consumer legislation.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS, RETURNS & SUPPORT
SLOWE furniture is available throughout the United Kingdom, Europe, North America and selected international destinations.
As each SLOWE piece is made to order specifically for the customer, we are unable to accept returns or cancellations for international orders based on a change of mind, personal preference or ordering error. This does not affect your rights where a product is faulty, damaged in transit or does not match the agreed specification.
We strongly recommend reviewing dimensions carefully and requesting fabric samples before placing an order.
If your order arrives damaged, faulty or does not match the agreed specification, please contact us as soon as possible. We will always work with you to put things right, whether that involves replacement parts, repairs, replacement products or another appropriate remedy.
Our furniture is designed to be repairable and supported for many years after purchase.
For destinations where taxes and duties are collected during checkout, customers should not incur additional import charges upon delivery.
Where taxes and duties cannot be calculated at checkout, any applicable charges will be communicated before dispatch.
SHIPPING
United Kingdom
We ship throughout mainland United Kingdom.
Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on your postcode.
Most deliveries are carried out by our own delivery team. In certain locations, trusted third-party delivery partners may be used.
Customers are typically contacted 2–3 weeks before delivery and again approximately one week before delivery to confirm arrangements.
Please notify us before ordering if your property has restricted access, narrow staircases, more than three flights of stairs, lift restrictions or specialist delivery requirements.
Additional charges may apply for remote locations, difficult access, specialist lifting equipment or exceptional delivery requirements.
Customers may also arrange collection from our London storage facility by prior appointment.
Europe, USA & International
We are pleased to offer delivery throughout Europe, North America and selected international destinations.
All international orders are carefully packaged and dispatched using trusted, fully insured delivery partners.
Depending on your location, delivery options may include room-of-choice delivery, white-glove services or specialist furniture carriers.
Prices may be displayed in your local currency where available.
Shipping costs, local taxes and duties will be calculated at checkout or quoted prior to dispatch.
For destinations where duties and taxes are collected at checkout, customers should not receive additional customs charges upon delivery.
Customers will be kept informed throughout production and contacted prior to dispatch to confirm delivery arrangements.

INSTALLATION
Installation services are only provided where explicitly stated on the invoice.
Unless otherwise agreed, installation excludes alterations to the building fabric or property structure.
Additional visits resulting from incomplete site readiness may incur further charges.
PRICING & TAX
All prices are listed in British Pounds Sterling (£) unless otherwise stated.
Shipping costs are calculated separately unless otherwise specified.
Local taxes, duties and import charges may vary depending on destination and applicable regulations.
Where available, taxes and duties will be calculated and collected during checkout.
We reserve the right to amend pricing, restrict or cancel orders where necessary.
OUR LIABILITY
We are not responsible for ensuring products are suitable for a specific purpose unless expressly agreed in writing.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any statutory rights available to consumers.
