A real double bed
There’s something nice about being able to tell someone they can stay. Friends visiting, parents for the weekend, or a late night that runs later than planned - simply pull the frame forward and you have a proper double bed. No awkward spare mattress or complicated mechanism. Just somewhere comfortable for the people you care about to properly rest.
A proper everyday sofa
We started with the sofa first. We didn't want SLOWE to look like a guest bed waiting to be used. Generous seating, feather-filled cushions, carefully considered seating proportions make it a sofa designed for everyday sitting, reading, working later than you should, late night talks, afternoon naps and doing very little at all. Which is exactly what a sofa should be for.
Made for the way you relax
Everyone’s idea of comfort is a little different, so we’ve designed something for everyone. Our deeper 3.0 Seater has a cocooning, almost bath-like feel, with plenty of room to properly sink in. At the other end, the compact 2.5 packs a lot into a smaller footprint, including a surprisingly generous double bed. Our team is always happy to help you find the proportions that feel right for you and your space.

Everything is made to order through a supply chain we’ve built ourselves. From timber components made in Cornwall to upholstery in High Wycombe and our own delivery team, we know the people making your sofa. It means better quality, fewer unnecessary layers and the ability to repair, refresh or replace individual parts for years to come.
Wash it. Repair it. Refresh it.
Life happens. Drinks get spilled. Children arrive. Dogs jump on things they shouldn't. Our covers are durable and removable, making them easier to clean and replace. And if, years from now, you fancy something different, refreshing the upholstery shouldn't require throwing away the frame underneath it.
Replace the part. Not the sofa.
We think furniture should become more familiar with age, not more disposable. SLOWE is deliberately constructed from individual components that can be repaired. Timber parts can be replaced. Cushions can be renewed. Covers can be removed. Fabric can be updated. So damage to one part doesn't mean the end of the whole sofa.

What it costs to own SLOWE
SLOWE sofa beds start from £2,995 including VAT. By all means they're not the cheapest, nor are they intended to be. You're buying an everyday sofa, a full double guest bed and a piece of furniture designed so that individual components can be maintained rather than the entire object being replaced. If you keep it for ten years, a £3,500 sofa works out at about £350 a year, or less than £1 a day. We'd rather make furniture worth maintaining than furniture designed around its replacement.
